Pirelli will take centre stage at the most exclusive motor show in Britain again next week. Half motor show, half-garden party, Salon Privé takes place in the grounds of Blenheim Palace: the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill in Oxfordshire.
Salon Privé is now in its 15th year, with Pirelli supporting the event as sponsor for the last five years. From September 5-8, some of the most rare, exquisite and prestigious classic cars from around the world will form the centrepiece of the show.
Falken is supplying original equipment tyres to the new Toyota Corolla, available since March 2019. The new vehicles will be fitted with the Ziex ZE914B Ecorun in sizes 225/40R18 92 W XL and 225/45R17 91W, and the Sincera SN832B tyre in size 205/55R16 91V. The tyres are manufactured at the SRI plant in Turkey and fitted at the Toyota plants in Castle Donington in the UK and Sarkaya in Turkey.

Dunlop has shared further details about its Trailmax Meridian, one of three new Dunlop motorcycle tyres scheduled for release in the second half of this year. Introducing the newcomer, Dunlop declares that a ‘new adventure dawns’ for the adventure bike sector. Kumho’s 4×4 tyre range has was recently extended by the addition of the Road Venture AT61 tyre. While there are a range of Kumho 4×4 products from which to choose, the majority of requirements are covered by on-road products as the Crugen HP91 and KL33, plus the cross-functional Road Venture patterned MT51 and newly-launched AT61. The relationship between Shandong Linglong Tire and vehicle manufacturer Geely Auto Group has deepened with the signing of a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement. Guan Yu, vice president of Geely Auto, and Wang Feng, chairman of Linglong Tire, signed the agreement on 26 August.
