Exhibiting in the ‘Performance & Tuning Car Show’, Liberty Walk Europe’s eye-catching stand contained Cooper’s Zeon 4XS Sport and the Cooper Discoverer STT Pro POR.

Of course, the earlier shows (including the first edition of Tire+) were held in Shanghai. This time, the 2018 event saw the Tire+ exhibition move to Guangzhou. According to the organisers the goal of the exhibition was “not only to continue the mature model of 2017, but also leverage the resources of the exhibition”. In practice this means leveraging the show’s ability to operate in both the business-to-business and business-to-consumer realms, specifically “the automobile industry chain, which is suitable for the post-automobile market consumption upgrade and individualized demand” as well as “tyres and aftermarket enterprises”.
Southern German Tuning Experts delta4x4 have developed a complete wheel and tyre combination that reportedly “optimizes the performance of the VW Multivan T6 on the road, as well as out there in open terrain”. The set consists of four tyres from the all-terrain line by BF Goodrich on KlassikB alloy wheels, which have a screwed-on guard ring for protection that can be replaced when it is damaged.
Carbon Revolution’s range of one-piece carbon fibre wheels, the CR-9, has been launched onto the European aftermarket. The manufacturer anticipates that its luxury product line, which is lightweight, attractively designed with premium build quality, will entice ultra-high performance vehicle owners at the top end of the market. The wheel’s marketplace positioning is obvious from the CR-9’s pricepoint; prices start around £15,000 for a full set.

Sambo Motors Co. Ltd. is to take over insolvent Carlsson Autotechnik GmbH including all employees on 4 December 2015. The Korean automotive supplier with annual revenues of more than US$1 billion in 2014 and 3,000 employees wants to expand the production of special editions for car manufacturers and strengthen the production capacities at the historic plant in Merzig/Saarland.

AirREX has released an adjustable air suspension kit for all variants of the Nissan GT-R. The company says the kit offers “a near ‘plug and play’ fitment”. The Liberty Walk project supplier said its air suspension offers super-low stance at shows, with a variety of ride heights for road use.
AirREX’s has released transformable air-suspension kit for almost all variants of the Volkswagen Passat. The supplier has different kits to fit all engine types from the launch spec to the present day, offering a near ‘plug and play’ fitment. The kit should appeal to enthusiasts that want the look and convenience of a fully adjustable air-ride kit, but without the usual hassles of fitting that go with custom installs, AirREX states.
Remus has launched a range of system options for BMW’s latest M3 and M4. The new sports exhaust systems feature fully shot-blasted surface finish, a more aggressive sound, and lightweight construction. The latter characteristic has been achieved by a reduction in wall thickness, though the manufacturer says strength is unaffected.
Bodykit creator Liberty Walk has announced its official presence in the UK by appointing The Performance Company (TPC) in Northampton as its sole British distributor. The Wellingborough based firm, which also recently added AirRex air suspension systems to its portfolio, said the deal would augment other blue-chip names like Remus, Pipercross, Ultra Racing and V-Maxx in its portfolio.
New products from 2014 launched wheel brand 7Twenty are now with customers across Europe, as it aims to “overhaul cars across the drift [and] JDM scenes”. The range features a selection of designs evolved from traditional styles made popular by the JDM and Drift scene in extreme widths, low offsets and eye catching finishes.
