Vredestein and Carlsson Announce Cooperation

Date: 12th January 2010 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Details of a cooperative partnership between Vredestein and vehicle manufacturer Carlsson were announced on January 11. Upon announcing the commencement of the collaboration, Vredestein Germany managing director Michael Lutz stated “in Carlsson we now have a strong partner in the field of premium styling. Carlsson is one of the best car tuning manufacturers anywhere in the world. Above all, the Carlsson name stands for elegant and exceptional design, high-torque engines and innovative German quality engineering for Mercedes cars.”

Vredestein is now placing an emphasis upon UHP tyres aimed at the high end of the exclusive car market, Lutz added, and therefore Carlsson and Vredestein are a “top class” combination. “We will be joining forces at salons, and working together in press-related activities and advertising efforts,” he said. “Vredestein will be marketed and promoted as Carlsson’s strategic tyre partner of choice.”

The cooperation with Carlsson, says Vredestein, “perfectly fits in” with its ‘Premium Styling by Vredestein’ concept first introduced during last year’s Essen Motor Show. Vehicles produced by tuners and other premium car stylists are the key target market for this recently introduced label. Designed by the renowned Italian designer Giugiaro, Premium Styling tyres are intended to guarantee superior road holding and performance while offering an extra elegant and stylish appearance. Products included in this exclusive portfolio include Vredestein’s Ultrac Sessanta summer tyre and the Wintrac xtreme for both passenger cars and 4×4 vehicles.
