Bridgestone now operates a total of more than 900 First Stop, Speedy and Côté Route retail outlets in France now that the company’s acquisition of Group Ayme and its 104 points of sale has been completed. Global demand for natural rubber (NR) is expected to outstrip supply this year, however the body representing 11 key producing countries cautions that strong demand doesn’t guarantee that the prices seen of late will be maintained.

Triangle Tire USA is opening its first US warehouse in Madison, Tennessee to supply off-the-road (OTR), medium and heavy truck as well as passenger and light truck tyres to its distributors and dealers. The 53,000 square-foot facility allows for future expansion, according to Triangle.
