No Pirelli Calendar for 2021 – tyre maker donating to coronavirus research

We'll have to wait until a later date to see the next Pirelli Calendar...

There will of course be 12 months next year, but you won’t be able to check that on a Pirelli Calendar. Pirelli has decided to cancel production and the launch of the 2021 Calendar, and instead ‘The Cal’ project will, in the context of other initiatives already undertaken by the company, donate 100,000 euros to the fight against and research into the coronavirus.

“The production of the Pirelli Calendar has been stopped before, in 1967 and then from 1975 to 1983. The unprecedented COVID-19 emergency has forced us to do so again today. We will return to the project when the time is right, together with the people who today were working on it with us,” shares Marco Tronchetti Provera, executive vice chairman and chief executive officer of Pirelli.
