Dynastat launches new range of UK manufactured brake lathes
Dynastat, a UK provider of vehicle brake disc lathes, has launched a new range of UK manufactured brake lathes via its updated website dynastat.org.
At the Automechanika show in Frankfurt (13-17 Sept 2017) they firm will debut its new “Indy420” brake lathe range. This range is made in the UK, with 90 per cent being made in Gloucestershire
Automechanika: Johnson Controls presents the new role for the battery
At Automechanika 2016, which will be held from 13 to 17 September in Frankfurt, Johnson Controls will provide detailed information on service solutions and on the complete range of VARTA products. Along with a deep insight in the developments of the automotive industry visitors will get a better understanding of the new role of the battery and the opportunities for the independent aftermarket at stand E10 in hall 4.1.
Bright adopting ‘open door’ approach at Automechanika 2016
It is no secret that China continues to play its role in the development of the European tyre market. Chinese equipment firm Bright Technology hopes to take this a step further at Automechanika 2016 in Frankfurt, Germany when the company unveils its new double-decker concept booth which will display a “revealing” digital photographic/video tour of the company’s production and design facilities.
Automechanika Shanghai adds new wheel rim/tyre sector space in West hall
Automechanika Shanghai is said to be experiencing “sweeping growth” ahead of the 2016 show, which will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, Puxi, Shanghai from 30 November – 3 December. The organisers are highlighting the show’s Connectivity and Electronics & Systems zones. However, in addition to the gains seen by the Electronics & Systems sector, for the first time the show’s West Hall will be housing the Wheel Rim/Tyre sectors.
Wiper blade specialist to celebrate centenary at Automechanika Frankfurt
Trico will celebrate its centenary during Automechanika Frankfurt 2016. The original equipment manufacturer of wiper blades and systems will hold its event on Wednesday 14 September in Bornheim. The company will provide tapas and bubbly in the comfort of a private loft.
Larger stand, product launches part of Gaither Europe’s Automechanika plan
Gaither Europe has shared details about its planned presence at Automechanika 2016. The Netherlands-based company will exhibit at the Frankfurt show on a twin level, 125 square metre site, and from this stand – which is significantly larger than its presence at the previous Automechanika – will display a wide selection of its range, including several new products that will be unveiled during the course of the fair.

Delphi launches DS-Flash Pass-Thru package with ECU re-programming
Delphi Product & Service Solutions has launched its new DS-Flash Pass-Thru package at Automechanika Birmingham. The tool provides independent garages with online access to vehicle manufacturer’s websites, enabling workshop to reprogram and update vehicle electronic control units without expensive dealer-only tools and software.
Zafco launches Zeetex Value for Money tyre range at Automechanika Dubai
Zafco presented its own brand Zeetex, as well as the Otani, Double Coin, and Accelera and Forceum brands at Automechanika Dubai, showcasing a wide range of products for the Middle East and African markets. The show presented an opportunity to launch the latest Zeetex product line, a new Value for Money (VFM) range of four patterns for the PCR, UHP, 4×4, and Light Truck segments. Zafco states the VFM range is intended for “customers who look for value in terms of quality, price, and durability.”
Messe Essen claims record number of exhibitors registered at Reifen 2016
Messe Essen, the organisers of the biennial Reifen event, looks likely to bow out gracefully at the end of an era represented by this year’s show. In the last Essen-hosted show ahead of its “trailblazing” move alongside Frankfurt’s Automechanika show in September 2018, or retreat in the face of Koelnmesse’s rival Tire Cologne show (see the April edition of Tyres & Accessories for complete details of the move, then delete as you see fit), the 24 to 27 May show will host 675 exhibitors, presenting their innovations for the tyre sector. This, Messe Essen states, represents a new record number of exhibitors in Reifen’s decades-long history. The organisers have also notched up another record with regard to the exhibition area: Reifen 2016 will occupy just over 60,000sqm of exhibition space.
First glimpse of new Reifen in UK at Automechanika Birmingham 2017
The close working relationship between Messe Frankfurt, organisers of the Automechanika automotive trade exhibitions, and Messe Essen’s Reifen tyre industry event, has been consolidated further. The two organisations announced that they would enhance their working relationship through a global partnership across all Automechanika events from 2017 onwards, with the two major exhibitions coming together for the first time at Automechanika Birmingham in June 2017.
Launch plans ‘big impact’ at Automechanika UK
Launch UK is set to attend Automechanika Birmingham 2016, exhibiting its full range of automotive diagnostic tools on stand 10K14 from 7 – 9 June at the NEC in Birmingham. Amongst other products, Launch reports it will present its X431 range of OE level diagnostic equipment to the UK market at the prestigious event.
Autogem MD giving TPMS talk at Automechanika Birmingham
Autogem’s managing director and National Tyre Distributors Association south east region chairman, Prashant Chopra, is to deliver a talk on TPMS at 15:40 on 8 June at Automechanika Birmingham in the Aftermarket Theatre. The title is “TPMS: a tidal wave of challenge and opportunity”.
