Manbat to introduce new battery models at Automechanika

The UK’s largest automotive and commercial vehicle battery distributor, Manbat, is to make its second appearance at Frankfurt’s Automechanika (Stand 3.1 G65) in September. The company has planned a substantially more prominent stand, scaled up from 12sqm to 56sqm, while two other Ecobat Technologies group businesses will join it on-stand. Manbat says the event provides a good platform from which to discuss new developments, such as the rebrand of the Numax automotive and CV product ranges, as well as two new models in the range.

Manbat boasts an excellent relationship with many original equipment battery manufacturers, including Johnson Controls, for whom it is the UK’s primary distribution partner of the Varta brand. The distributor’s quantities of scale enable the bulk order of high specification batteries, and have resulted in its ability to offer two new models in both the Numax automotive and CV product ranges to respond to the needs of its many wholesale customers. Either side of the existing Premium model, Manbat will introduce the Standard and Supreme, to make a three-model family, with the first look at the new products at Automechanika.

Although the majority of sales will continue to be of the Premium offering, as both the automotive and CV versions are high quality batteries that provide a long service life, Manbat says its Standard and Supreme models respectively provide the solution for reliable and trustworthy performance at a lower cost.

Alongside these additions, visitors will be able to find out more about the entire Numax range, which includes leisure, marine, motorcycle, golf and mobility batteries and also its other brands, such as Lucas, Varta and Sonnenschein.
