They’re taking place right now at Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, with Pirelli as a Main Sponsor. Pirelli winter tyres are also abundantly present in Cortina, with the Italian brand’s winter range fitted to the vehicle fleet supplied by fellow Main Sponsor Audi.
Hankook will fit its Ventus Race tyre on the FFF Racing Team’s Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO at the 49th ADAC Total 24h Race at the Nürburgring on 3-6 June, 2021. The tyre manufacturer has also become the lead sponsor of the team, supported by Lamborghini Squadra Corse. The Hankook FFF Racing Team will compete in races at the 66th ADAC Westfalenfahrt (27 March), the Nimex 45th DMV 4-Hour Race (17 April) and the 62nd Eibach ADAC ACAS Cup (1 May), all of which form part of the Nürburgring Endurance Series. The team says the schedule gives the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO chance to establish itself among the front-runners at the Eifel region’s 24-hour classic.
Goodyear is the new ‘Official Tire Partner’ of the Nürburgring circuit in Germany. It gained this status upon expanding its existing partnership with the Nürburgring Driving Academy, the ring°kartbahn and Offroadpark to cover the entire Nürburgring organisation.
One of the biggest football clubs in the Czech Republic, SK Dynamo České Budějovice, has named Tomket Tires as its back of shirt partner. The latest investment comes shortly after Tomket Tires announced its partnership with another leading Czech team, FC Zbrojovka Brno. The two Czech football sponsorship moves see Tomket Tires return to the company’s historic roots by sponsoring teams at the forefront of Czech football in the same manner as it does other teams in the top five leagues in global football.
Liqui Moly has been represented in the MotoGP Motorcycle World Championship for eight years. It is now further expanding its commitment. The oil manufacturer will be title sponsor of the race in its home country, which is to be called the Liqui Moly Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany. “This increases our brand visibility all over the world,” says Ernst Prost, managing director of Liqui Moly.
Falken is expanding its motorsport commitment and will be the new Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) sponsor for the 2021 season. The agreement sees the tyre brand secure prominent logo placement on the front wings of all competing race cars in the series. In addition, there will be significant trackside signage on the start/finish straight and winners’ podium, as well as branding on the official NLS homepage with further promotional opportunities planned.
FC Zbrojovka have welcomed Czech-based brand Tomket Tires as a sleeve sponsor. To support its development, Tomket have invested in a portfolio of sponsorships within motorsport and premium football clubs including being the official partner of Glasgow Rangers, ACF Fiorentina, VFB Stuttgart and a media partner at four English Premier League clubs.
Tomket Tires announced it became an official partner to VfB Stuttgart on 7 January 2021. The latest announcement follows a series of high-profile football sponsorship deals. Tomket is already associated with Rangers, Fiorentina, several Spanish La Liga clubs and four English Premier League teams in varying levels of partnership. Tomket has also invested in motorsport sponsorship.
From the 2021-2022 season, Liqui Moly will be the main and name sponsor of Starligue, the highest handball league in France. The motor oil and additive specialist concluded a five-year contract with the LNH national handball league. “This will help us to become even more well-known in France in order to expand our distribution and significantly increase our sales,” says Ernst Prost, managing director of Liqui Moly.
Bridgestone has formed a partnership with the Indy Autonomous Challenge (IAC). The global competition for university teams challenges students to programme a modified Dallara IL-15 race car and compete in the world’s first autonomous high-speed, head-to-head race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS). Bridgestone will exclusively supply tyres for the event, scheduled for 23 October, 2021. The tyre manufacturer said that it will work closely with the IAC and its participating teams “on a collective vision to push the boundaries of self-driving car technology.” Bridgestone added that it wants the partnership to “increase public awareness of the impact that automation can have on society.”
Continuing its long association with Manchester United, Apollo Tyres recently extended ‘Official Global Tyre Partner’ status with a parallel association with the company’s Vredestein tyre brand. The move is part of a wider growth strategy for the Vredestein brand across the Europe and North American markets.

Off-road tyre specialist BKT has signed a new sports sponsorship deal. The Indian group will be a Premium Partner of EuroLeague Basketball, organiser of the two most prestigious European basketball club competitions, over the next three years until the 2022/23 season. The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the 7DAYS EuroCup bring together 42 teams, representing 14 countries. BKT branding will be present at the first round of 2020/21 season games on 1-2 October. It will be displayed on LED systems, Jumbotrons and on-site initiatives. BKT will also gain television exposure via graphics and headers and pre- and post-game interview backdrops. BKT will also appear on EuroLeague and EuroCup digital and social media.
Nexen Tire’s renewal of its Manchester City partnership for a third term sees the tyre manufacturer aim to “further boost co-branding opportunities, media and marketing partnerships, and much more for both parties”. The new deal means Nexen Tire logo will continue to appear on the left sleeve of playing shirts and expand this position to all available City teams and competitions. This will include both men’s and women’s playing kit, men’s training kits, the Elite Development Squad (EDS) and eSports players. Nexen Tire has been supporting Manchester City since 2015 and became the first official sleeve partner in 2017, the first announcement of its kind in the Premier League.
The title sponsor of the Liqui Moly Handball Bundesliga is expanding its commitment to handball for the coming season of the EHF (European Handball Federation) Champions League and is becoming an official partner. The Liqui Moly brand will be prominently displayed both on the hall floor and on the media walls.
