Linglong supports 2024 VfL Wolfsburg diversity match day

For the 7^th time, Linglong Tire is supporting VfL Wolfsburg Diversity Match Day. As part of the women’s home games against RB Leipzig on Monday 11 March 2024 in the AOK Stadium and the men’s games on Saturday, 16 March 2024 against FC Augsburg in the Volkswagen Arena, the Wolves will wear a diversity jersey as a symbol of VfL’s various social activities.

The Green Whites want to particularly campaign against racism and right-wing extremism this year under the motto “We are Team Diversity – because it doesn’t matter where you come from,”. As a visible symbol, the focus is on the diversity jerseys, on which the Volkswagen logo and the Linglong Tire logo will be seen, the colours of the rainbow will be shown.

Marcel Schäfer, managing director of VfL Wolfsburg: “In football, diversity is an essential criterion for success. For us, it doesn’t matter where you come from or where you were born. Anyone who identifies with our goals and values and wants to play for VfL is part of the team. This principle should also apply to our society. That’s why we as VfL take a clear stance against hatred, racism and right-wing extremism.”

Linglong Tire has been involved with VfL Wolfsburg since 2014 and is currently a top partner, official tyre partner and sleeve sponsor of the former German champions and cup winners. The women’s team of VfL Wolfsburg, reigning German Cup winners, is also supported by Linglong Tire as a top partner at national and international level.
