CV Show launch for Laufenn truck tyre range

The new Laufenn tyres will be shown at the CV Show alongside the growing Hankook range

Truck tyres are joining the ranks of Hankook Tire’s second brand, Laufenn. Hankook Tyre UK will preside over the global launch of these products at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show, presenting the Laufenn tyres alongside its expanding Hankook commercial vehicle line-up.

“Our share of the market has grown considerably in recent years and fleets looking to maximise value for money in every area of their business have returned time and time again to Hankook, which prides itself on providing reliable products for customers and linking this with excellent cost per mile figures,” shares Paul Emery, the newly-appointed sales director for Hankook Tyre UK.

“As Hankook is viewed as the leader in the UK truck tyre replacement market and the Commercial Vehicle Show is the largest road transport and commercial vehicle event in the UK, it is the ideal opportunity to present our new tyre brand alongside our existing innovative tyre solutions,” Emery continues. “Hankook continues to build on its reputation for producing outstanding tyres delivering superb mileage and reliability and the new Laufenn product further demonstrates our investment in research and development.”

While Hankook Tyre UK is keeping details of the new Laufenn products under wraps for the time being, it has provided a few details about the Hankook products we’ll see at the CV Show. Additions to the portfolio include new steer (AM11), drive (DM11) and trailer (TM11) tyres from the recently expanded SmartWork regional on-/off-road series. The all-season Vantra ST AS2 (RA30) multi-performance van tyre will also enjoy its UK debut.

This year’s Commercial Vehicle Show is scheduled to place at the Birmingham NEC from 28 to 30 April. The new Laufenn range and growing Hankook portfolio can be seen at Hankook Tyre UK’s exhibition space (Hall 5, Stand 5B50).
