Midwest Motor Factors has appointed Mark Graver to the role of parts sales manager. Based at its new-look Bilston branch, he will be responsible for developing sales and the growth within the Midwest branch network, as well as tapping into new opportunities.

He specialises in refinishing, tools and equipment and service segments.
Launch UK, the UK supplier of automotive diagnostics equipment, has appointed Richard Collyer in the role of product and equipment specialist, bringing a wealth of aftermarket experience to the established brand. Collyer’s primary role will be to market, demonstrate and sell Launch’s ATF 501S, a device to clean and maintain the entire transmission system easily and quickly.
Giti Tire has promoted Craig Tominey to senior regional sales manager for its UK truck and bus (TBR) operations. He will take up the role while maintaining his position as area sales manager (ASM) for Scotland. Giti adds that Tominey, who joined Giti in April 2013 from BSUK, will support the company’s five ASMs around the country while having greater input into strategy with senior management and the office-based sales team. He will report directly to Tony McHugh, TBR sales and marketing director UK at Giti Tire.
CAM has appointed a new client liaison officer as part of the business’ ongoing expansion of its customer service commitment. An experienced sales and administration professional, Anna Morris will be the main point of contact for CAM’s existing customers. She will meet with customers face-to-face to facilitate ongoing client contact enabling tyre dealers to be current with the full suite of software and data solutions that CAM offers to help them expand their business opportunities.
CAM has appointed former England under-20 rugby international Rebecca Trist as a customer liaison officer. The company states that her appointment will bolster its customer service team, helping it to provide clients across UK and Republic of Ireland with the latest information on software solutions available to them, and how the technologies can assist in their business improvement.
Following Triangle Tyre’s initial public offering (IPO) in 2016 on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the company has raised capital to drive its business forward. As a result, the Weihai-Shandong based company has initiated a globalization process aimed at increasing its shares in the most strategic markets. This means the establishment of new European Headquarters in Milan, Italy and a newly appointed European team. Triangle Tyre has chosen Corrado Moglia to lead its European growth agenda, as general manager for Europe. Moglia is a tyre veteran with more than 25 years of experience in the industry with Bridgestone, Marangoni and Giti Tire in his career, with his latest position in Giti being managing director for Latin America and Europe.
CAM has promoted Frankie Sharp to development project consultant, expanding its custom projects team. The appointment is part of the business’ ongoing investment in its technology solutions to assist UK tyre operators achieve greater efficiency and develop new business opportunities.
Magna Tyres Group has appointed Arjen Sibon as sales manager, effective from 1 July. In this position, he has taken on the responsibility for growing and improving key accounts in the European OTR tyre business.
Harjeev Kandhari has joined the board of directors of Doublestar Europe as vice chairman. The joint venture between Qingdao Doublestar and the Zenises Group, of which Kandhari is CEO, is responsible for the sale, marketing and distribution of all Doublestar products in the continent, including the UK and other major markets.
Magna Tyres Group has appointed Nora Zhou as general manager of the new Magna Tyres Singapore office. Zhou has almost 30 years of experience within the tyre industry. Magna states that her “profound knowledge of international business, general management and specialisation in OTR (mining) tyres” make her “the perfect person to lead the Magna Tyres’ expansion in the South East Asian Tyre market.”
Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Europe has appointed Michiel Kramer as its marketing director for central and eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. In this newly created role, Kramer, a 12-year tyre industry veteran formerly with Apollo Vredestein, will be responsible for marketing, pricing, business intelligence and product management. He reports to Luis Ceneviz, Cooper’s managing director of Latin America Tire Operations and managing director of Europe Tire Operations.
