SIMA debut for Trelleborg HF1000

In addition to presenting its Adaptive Tire Management System (ATMS) at SIMA 2022, Trelleborg debuted its next generation implement tyre, the HF1000. BKT confirms another year as TotY main sponsor

The Tractor of the Year 2023 awards have taken place at the SIMA show, with BKT serving as main sponsor for the third consecutive year. As this year’s winners were announced, the tyre maker also gave word that it would return as main sponsor in 2024.

BKT debuts agri rubber track

In a teaser prior to this week’s SIMA show in Paris, BKT commented that its “new step ahead on tyres is not a tyre.” True to word, the Indian off-highway tyre specialist unveiled its latest product for the agricultural, the Agriforce BK T71 rubber track. BKT says this latest addition to its portfolio is “unstoppable on any terrain.”

Virtual rib – GRI debuts Green XLR Earth 65+

Amongst the new product launches at the SIMA 2022 exhibition is the GRI Green XLR Earth 65+, an agricultural tyre produced with 37.5 per cent sustainable materials. Following its debut at the Paris show between 6 and 10 November, GRI will bring the new range to market in early 2023.

New dates for SIMA show

International News

The next SIMA agricultural trade show will take place in February 2021 rather than in November 2020, as originally planned. The organisers rescheduled the Paris-based fair to 21-25 February 2021 “at the request of a large number of exhibitors and organisations from the agricultural machinery industry whose production and distribution activities have been hit hard by today’s public health and economic crisis.”

Ceat growing agri range in 2019

The Ceat agricultural tyre range will expand this year to cover high power tractor tyres, harvester tyres and steel belted flotation tyres. News of these new product lines was shared at the SIMA show in Paris yesterday, where Ceat Specialty Tyres also presented its recently-launched Farmax R85 series, R65 series and R70 series agricultural radial range, Floatmax radial flotation tyres and Farmax RC row crop radials.

Vredestein to show ‘longer life’ small and large tractor tyres at SIMA

Vredestein will exhibit its latest Traxion tractor tyres on the French market at The Paris International Agribusiness Show (SIMA). The tyre manufacturer said it would showcase its new Traxion 65/70 for compact tractors along with the latest sizes in its Traxion Optimall VF range for large tractors. “It starts with the unique curvature of the tread cleats,” says Ruud Nijland, divisional head sales for agricultural and industrial tyres Europe at Apollo Vredestein.

Trelleborg launches Variable Inflation Pressure system at SIMA 2017

Trelleborg has announced the global launch of the Variable Inflation Pressure system (VIP) at SIMA 2017 in Paris, France. The VIP system is a smart and autonomous complete wheel capable of self-adjusting the pressure of a combine harvester’s tyre during operation according to its precise load, optimising the tyre’s footprint in order to reduce soil compaction.

Mitas to communicate solutions for the ever-changing world of farmers at SIMA

Trelleborg Group tyre manufacturer Mitas has launched a new advertising campaign emphasising the needs of farmers for quality equipment they can rely on. It highlights the various types of machinery and applications, terrains and locations, and weather conditions and terrains encountered by agricultural professionals. Mitas’ campaign, showing how reliable tyres can help farmers to improve the overall effectiveness of farming, will be presented during the SIMA show in Paris from 26 February to 2 March (Stand C060, Hall 7).

SIMA launch for Vredestein’s “widest” sub-1250mm agri trailer tyre

The SIMA international agribusiness show in Paris will serve as a platform for Apollo Vredestein to introduce the widest available radial implement tyre with a diameter below the crucial 1,250 millimetre mark. From 26 February to 2 March, the company will showcase the 800/40 R 22.5 168D Flotation Trac radial, a product it developed with agricultural equipment manufacturers.
