No CITExpo show in 2020

Date: 11th May 2020 Author: Stephen Goodchild Comments: 0
The next CITExpo will now take place in August 2021

Originally scheduled to take place between 17 and 19 August this year, the 18th edition of the China International Tire Expo (CITEXPO) has been postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis. The tyre and wheel trade fair is now scheduled to return to the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center between 16 and 18 August 2021.

“The postponement comes in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as containment measures restrict movement across international borders and impact the global economy,” explains show organiser Reliable International Exhibition Services. “CITExpo is truly a global event, and the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 meant potentially thousands of stakeholders are limited in their ability to plan ahead and attend the show at its original dates in August.”

In its planning for the 2021 show, the organiser says it is “taking the sensible precautionary response by carefully watching and taking the advice of the relevant local and global authorities.”
