Autoparts UK, Midwest Motor Factors, Monmore close to provide NHS resources

Autoparts UK, Midwest Motor Factors and Monmore Autoparts will temporarily close until at least Monday 13 April. As part of Arnold Clark, the company is making resources available to the NHS and frontline workers, including the provision of 400 vehicles free of charge. Arnold Clark employees have also responded to the government’s call for help and are volunteering within the NHS and are also providing roadside recovery, emergency repairs and parts for all emergency vehicles where necessary.

Autoparts UK has opened a new Manchester branch on the industrial estate of Trafford Park. The branch has more than £500,000 worth of stock in place to serve customers across the Greater Manchester area, a highly skilled and experience team and, a fleet of Autoparts vans in operation.

Autoparts UK and Midwest Motor Factors have increased stock levels by 25 per cent in view of the uncertainty surrounding the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union. In Glasgow, Autoparts’ central distribution hub has installed a new mezzanine floor and all branches throughout Scotland and Northern England are increasing stock levels.

Autoparts ends Ice Hockey season sponsorship in style

Autoparts UK sponsors Scottish ice hockey teams

Noting the growing popularity of the sport in the UK, Autoparts UK will sponsor two Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) teams – Braehead Clan and Dundee Stars – in the upcoming 2015/16 season. The EIHL is the only league outside the USA with affiliation to the NHL, and Glasgow’s Braehead Clan plays in front of 3500 fans. The club’s attendance figures have risen 242 per cent in the past five years, proving an increasingly attractive option for sport sponsorship.
