Nottingham based A to Z Car and Taxi Parts & Accessories has joined A1 Motor Stores. Opened in 2011, the retailer and factor supplies the garage and taxi retail and repair trade in the north of Nottingham, currently running two vans delivering a wide range of both hard parts and retail goods.

Davanti Tyres has signed an exclusive sales deal across the Middle East with international trading house Terramar GmbH. The private brand of UK wholesaler Oak Tyres states that this continues its global expansion plans, building upon strong global sales since its launch in 2015. The deal joins distribution arrangements made in South Africa in late 2016. Terramar will sell Davanti Tyres exclusively across the Middle East from June 2017.
Joe Venezia is the new president of Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO), the subsidiary of Bridgestone Americas responsible for the company’s 2,200+ outlet tyre and automotive service network. British commercial vehicle (CV) production output fell in May as an increase in production for export failed to counteract a drop in domestic demand, according to figures published today by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). 6,875 vans, trucks, buses and coaches were built in the UK last month, a -11.3 per cent year on year decline.
