Chargemaster powers up Cenex-LCV2018 with exhibitor and visitor charging

Chargemaster, which is now part of BP, has been selected as the official charging provider for Cenex-LCV2018 and will deliver both exhibitor and visitor charging at the event, which is in its 11th year.

Valet-style rapid charging will be available for visitors, as well as fast charging points for plug-in hybrids, on both 12th and 13th September at the event at Millbrook. Exhibitors will be offered charging points for their external display and demonstration areas, as well as access to a rapid charging hub on the venue’s Steering Pad.

Chargemaster has supported the Cenex-LCV event for the last eight years and is the UK’s largest provider of EV charging infrastructure. In 2017, Chargemaster’s two Ultracharge rapid chargers fully charged 60 visitors’ electric vehicles in just 16 hours during the event.

The LCV2018 event will feature Chargemaster’s UK-made Ultracharge 50kW rapid chargers, as well as its Fastcharge units, which are also made at its manufacturing facility in the UK. Chargemaster staff will be on hand during the event, including on its own stand, C3-102.

Robert Evans, CEO of Cenex, said, “Access to high speed charging infrastructure is central to accelerating the growth of electric vehicles. I’m therefore delighted that 2018 will see Chargemaster’s biggest commitment yet to Cenex-LCV, demonstrating the strength and breadth of its charging range and benefiting all of our exhibitors and expected 4,000 visitors.”

David Martell, chief executive of Chargemaster, said, “We are very pleased to have been selected as the exclusive charging partner for Cenex-LCV once again, and are proud to be supporting exhibitors’ and visitors’ electric vehicles using our UK-made charging equipment.”
