Long-standing personality within the international tyre industry Rob Henderson has died suddenly, two years after his retirement in December 2020. He was 73. Henderson had an illustrious 50-year career in a variety of tyre industry roles, including management positions with Stapleton’s, Al Dobowi Group, and latterly Enjoy Tyre. He leaves behind his devoted wife Kathy, their four daughters Kirstie, Gayle, Melissa and Gemma, and five grandchildren.
50-year tyre industry stalwart Rob Henderson retired at the end of December 2020. Henderson can look back on an illustrious career in the international tyre market, much of which was spent in management roles with tyre manufacturers and wholesalers. He ends his career following seven years as the general manager in the UK and Europe for China’s Enjoy Tyre, best known for its Rotalla and Routeway brands.
In addition to offering a wide winter range, Enjoy Tyre is now adding all-season tyres to its Rotalla portfolio. A total of 101 sizes and prototype patterns for cars and vans are currently at the testing and final development stage.
International contract tyre supplier Enjoy Tyre has become an official partner of Taça de Portugal, the country’s premier football knockout competition, to promote its Rotalla private brand. From the quarter final stage to the final on Sunday, 20 May, a series of advertising banners promoting Rotalla tyres will be displayed around the stadiums, with each game being televised live on Portuguese television. Rotalla is distributed exclusively throughout Portugal by leading wholesaler Aguesport.
Enjoy Tyre’s Rotalla and Routeway brand winter patterns will be available through exclusive UK distributor Bond International. The company states that both ranges have recently improved their tyre labelling ratings.
Contract tyre manufacturer Enjoy Tyre has introduced a series of new patterns for its Rotalla car tyre range. The Setula E-Pace range initially comprises two models; the RH02 and RH01. The RH02 is available in 62 sizes in T, H and V ratings between 12 and 16 inches. The RH01 has 36 sizes in H and V from 14 to 16 inches. The patterns include 70, 65, 60, 55, and 50 series. For higher performance cars, Rotalla also has another new line in the Setula range; the S-Pace RU01 is the new pattern for the UHP segment in V, W and Y ratings. It is currently available in 66 15 to 20 inch sizes in 55, 50, 45, 40, 35 and 30 series.
Contract tyre producer and manufacturer of the Rotalla brand, Enjoy Tyre, is bringing extending the Routeway tyre range it offers in the UK and Europe beyond the TBR range already available here. The new first lines destined for our shores include seven passenger car patterns, including UHP, SUV, winter and van/light commercial tyres, and Enjoy Tyre says these are now available for new orders.
Hangzhou, China-based tyre maker Enjoy Tyre has previously stated an intention to expand the global profile of its Routeway private brand, and the company is now introducing truck patterns from the range into the UK and Europe. The current Routeway truck range contains eight steer (RW201 and RW202), drive (RW101, RW103 and RW105) and trailer (RW205 and RW603) patterns. In addition, 17 new sizes and additional pattern options for existing sizes are at present being readied for a European launch.
Enjoy Tyre is providing an extensive range of winter patterns for its flagship Rotalla brand. The Rotalla S100 M+S, S110 and S210 winter tyres have all been produced with a particular emphasis on being skid proof, the manufacturer says. All three distinctive patterns offer a thin multi-curve tread that includes significantly deeper grooves, which improve performance in winter road conditions.
