MRF displays expanded motorsport offering at Autosport

As a top 15 global tyre manufacturer, India’s MRF continue to operate under the radar of many in Europe, though in motorsport it has rapidly developed from the UK launch of its range at the 2016 Autosport International show into an increasingly significant position. Globally, MRF has been recognised within motorsport circles since the late 1970s, when it became the most important tyre supplier to touring cars in its domestic market, with karting, rallying and various other motorsport events to follow.

Apollo becomes Official Tyre Partner of Crystal Palace FC

Yokohama branding continues on new Nike home and away kits for Chelsea FC

While Premier League champions Chelsea FC will be wearing Nike Football kits for the first time in the club’s 112-year history, one thing that won’t change for the 2017-18 season is shirt sponsor Yokohama. The tyre manufacturer continues into its third season of the five-year deal, which will see the champions defend their title and mount a challenge in the European Champions’ League, increasing the reach of its global sponsorship.

Yokohama tyres fitted to Chelsea FC team bus

Yokohama has added a further initiative to its shirt sponsorship link with Chelsea FC; the manufacturer is fitting its tyre to the team bus. Chelsea will roll into Watford FC’s Vicarage Road ground for the squad’s first away fixture of the 2016/17 season on Yokohama 104ZR coach and bus tyres. The company has also fitted its high-performance, premium car tyres to a number of the players’ own cars.

Sailun Jinyu begins 2016/17 Premier League perimeter advertising programme

Sailun Jinyu will begin its new football perimeter advertising agreement with the English Premier League in this weekend’s matches, having signed an initial commitment to 10 games. Its advertisements will appear on the pitch perimeter hoardings at Stoke City’s Bet365 stadium and The Hawthorns, home to West Bromwich Albion, on 20 August, with a second showing at the latter ground on 28 August.
