IMI stays cool with Bosch air conditioning training

Bosch has been chosen by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) to help provide its technicians with the key training required to assess air conditioning repairs and refrigerant handling. Bosch will provide the required training to achieve IMIAL Level 3 Award in Automotive Refrigerant Handling to a number of the IMI’s External Quality Assurers (EQAs).

TerraCoolant Exchange Machine

Randstad Ltd has launched a new TerraCoolant Exchange Machine into the UK automotive aftermarket, which quickly flushes and refills a vehicle’s cooling system.

As coolant becomes contaminated, it deteriorates and its additive package depletes. Scale and rust can form in the cooling system, which dramatically decreases the system’s ability to draw heat away from the engine. Old coolant also loses its ability to prevent corrosion.
