Approved Garages have confirmed their sponsorship of BTCC teams NAPA Racing UK and Apec Racing with Beavis Morgan. The multi-year sponsorship enables Approved Garages to feature prominently across all four racing cars, attributed merchandise, and marketing material.
Commenting on the latest UK registration figures for vans, Sue Robinson, Chief Executive of the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA), said; “Registrations of light commercial vehicles declined in March as supply constraints and subsequent product shortages continue to have a detrimental impact on the market; these issues are not only affecting automotive, but also other economy sectors, such as the construction industry, whose stability is vital to the van market.”
Following the news that China vehicle sales fell by 11.7 per cent in March after two months of increase, Bakar Sadik Agwan, Senior Automotive Consulting Analyst at GlobalData, a leading data and analytics company, offers his view: “In contrast to a positive jump of 18.7 per cent in February, vehicle sales in China fell by 11.7 per cent to 2.2 million units in March 2022, following the production and supply disruptions caused by the new wave of the COVID-19 which led to strict lockdowns across regions in the country.”

The UK Garage and Bodyshop Event has unveiled its line-up of expert trainers and guest speakers for its inaugural June event at Birmingham’s NEC, to support the UK garage and body shop industry through the biggest change it’s ever experienced.
