Hankook iON a Lucid Gravity OE tyre

Hankook Tire & Technology has announced another original equipment supply deal, this time for the North American market. Lucid Motors will equip versions of its Lucid Gravity electric SUV sold within the region region with the Hankook iON evo AS SUV. Images accompanying Hankook’s announcement show the Gravity wearing the iON tyre in size 265/50 R20.

Auto Bild – the German motoring publication we know and love for its giant tyre tests, has named its tyre brand of the year. It asked its readers to decide upon the best brands in all parts of the automotive sector, and for tyres they could vote for two categories: Quality and Price/Performance. In recent times, German tyre brand Continental has taken first place in both for seven consecutive years.

Pirelli fires up engines for European Rally Championship opener in Andalusia

Pirelli’s motorsport tyre crews are supporting the opening weekend of the European Rally Championship in Andalusia on 4-6 April. The Sierra Morena Rally is set on the regions winding tarmac roads, with 82 crews on the entry list. New Zealander Hayden Paddon won back-to-back titles in 2023 and 2024 but has chosen not to defend the title in 2025. In addition to its ERC role, Pirelli is the sole supplier and technical partner to the ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy, now in its second season, with seven crews taking part in Rally Sierra Morena.

Hankook supplying OE tyres for Cupra Terramar

Should customers collecting their new Cupra Terramar from dealers pay attention to the tyres, they might notice that their SUV has arrived from the factory equipped with Hankook Ventus evo SUV. Hankook names Ahn & Lee Co-CEOs

A new era of leadership is taking shape at Hankook, the tyre maker tells us. This wind of change comes in the form of two new Co-CEOs, Jongseon Ahn and Sanghoon Lee. Hankook confirmed both in this role and appointed them Executive Directors following approvals given at its Annual General Meeting and Board of Directors meeting on 26 March.
