Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo postponed until November

International News

In order to “protect the health and safety of all participants during the Covid-19 emergency”, this year’s Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo and the Latin Auto Parts Expo has been postponed for four months. The organiser of the Panama City-based show, which originally was to take place between 14-17 July 2020, has rescheduled it to 17-20 November 2020.

Latin America debut for Davanti tyre range

International News

Sales of Davanti tyres are growing in Europe, and last month the team behind the brand announced a new partner had taken on the brand’s distributorship in the Middle East region. Now, Davanti Tyres has a firm eye on Latin America; following the brand’s presence at the Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo in Panama in June, a deal has been struck for the distribution of Davanti tyres in the Colombian market.

TRIB’s Stevens to speak at Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo

The Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau (TRIB) shares that its managing director, David Stevens, will once again be a featured speaker at the Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo. This year’s event, which takes place in Panama City between 16 and 18 July, will be the fourth year in a row that Stevens has attended the show in this capacity.

On 23 June, the organisers of the Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo (which runs 16-18 July 2015 in Panama, Rep. of Panama) is 95 per cent reserved with over 210 companies committing to attend.

The organiser of the Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo reports that 3,880 visitors from at least 78 countries attended the Panama-based trade exhibition between 23 and 25 July. A total of 233 exhibitors were also present at the show, and organiser Latin Expo Group LLC says feedback from exhibitors and visitors indicates that 95 per cent had a “positive business experience at the show.” The 2014 show was the fifth time the exhibition has been held; it will take place again at the Atlapa Convention Center in Panama between 16 and 18 July 2015.

Organiser of the Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo, the Latin Expo Group has donated $10,000 dollars to Aldeas Infantiles SOS Panama. Around the World in SOS deals with children who are at risk when their basic needs are neglected terms of material, emotional, health care and education, or are abused – either because they have lost their parents, never have known them, or when parents do not have the resources or skills to properly care for their children.

New range of Vietnamese tyres from DRC and Duratread

Duratread and DRC, who have been cooperating on sales and marketing projects since 2006, have announced the launch of a new expanded range of tyres coming from Vietnam. The innovative range of products were unveiled at the Latin Tyre Expo from 23-25 July 2014 in Panama City, Panama.

Latin American & Caribberan Tyre Expo 2014

More than 3,000 visitors came in the summer of 2012 to the recent Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo in Panama and made the only Latin American tire so fair a success. According to the organizers now, there is also a Tyre Expo for the next event: You will be taking place in Atlapa Convention Center in Panama, from the 24th to 27 July 2013.

TIA VP featured speaker at Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo

Tire Industry Association executive vice president Roy Littlefield will be a featured speaker at the upcoming Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo, Tire Review reports. The presentation, titled, “What is TIA and What Can TIA Do for You?” is scheduled for 25 July at 10:45. Littlefield is part of panel of speakers comprised of distinguished tire industry leaders. The show takes place between 24-27 July at the Atlapa Convention Center in Panama, Panama.
