Interstate Tires Participates in Latin Tyre Expo in Panama

Interstate Tire & Rubber has announced that it will participate in the Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo, which is scheduled to be held between 8 and 11 July 2010 at the Atlapa Convention Centre in Panama City, Panama. Interstate Tires reports that it will display its latest products on stand 694 during this show, launching the brand new Interstate Eco Tour Plus tyre and the company’s new commercial range to the Latin American and Caribbean markets.

Interstate Tires is active in more than 50 countries worldwide, with company representatives pointing out in April that its market share of in the Latin America & Caribbean markets “is growing rapidly.” According to company vice president, Theo de Vries, “This is a fast growing market with excellent opportunities for Interstate. Panama is strategically located in an isthmus that is geographically located between North, Central, and South America. Panama is very close and accessible to all the Caribbean countries.”

Interstate is already present in several South American countries and will hold its 3rd annual ‘Interstate South American conference’ during the show.

Interstate recently announced that it was exhibiting at Recaufair and, in addition to the Panama expo, plans to show its products at the forthcoming Reifen show in Essen, Germany.
