One of the UK’s largest single site motor factors, Autosupplies Chesterfield, has become the latest UK distributor to stock Mahle Aftermarket products, by adding its OE quality filters to its extensive product range. The award-winning motor factor has added Mahle in order to meet increasing demand from independent garages. With the business growing year on year, Autosupplies now employs over 100 members of staff and more than 60 vans and is now one of the largest single branch motor factors in the UK.
Autosupplies Chesterfield has held its annual supplier and customer golf day at Rufford Park Golf & Country Club, Newark. Growing in size since the inaugural event last year, more than 50 players took part in the four ball stableford tournament with an array of trophies for nearest the pin and longest drive given out to participants, along with the winning team and raffle prizes.
Autosupplies has made picker, Tyler Clarke, its Employee of the Year. He was presented with his accolade by Bob Ackroyd and Maureen Cole of Alliance UK. Voted by the management team, Clarke also received vouchers and a trophy sponsored by UAN Ltd. The motor factor said it is keen to reward staff members that go above and beyond to deliver customer satisfaction and it is very much aware of the significant impact they have upon the business. The company now employs 87 members of staff.
Autosupplies (Chesterfield) Ltd, has launched its brand new, 40-page brochure, including the latest updates from the motor factor and information from its leading OE-quality suppliers. The brochure describes Autosupplies’ history, the team, its goals and achievements, and the company’s progression into one of the largest single branch motor factors in the UK.
Autosupplies Chesterfield is taking on the full WAI product range of rotating electrics, ignition leads, ignition coils, window regulators and wiper motors as part of the motor factor’s continued expansion plans.
Autosupplies (Chesterfield) Ltd was named Motor Factor of the Year at the Motor Trader Awards 2016. The result was announced at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London on 13 July, with the black tie event featuring 26 award categories and welcoming more than 1000 guests to celebrate top achievers and innovative companies within the automotive industry.
