BKT confirms EIMA non-attendance

After postponing the event scheduled for November 2020, the organiser of EIMA International is planning to hold its agricultural machinery trade fair in Bologna next February. But not all exhibitors are convinced this is the right decision. In light of the ongoing coronavirus situation, tyre maker BKT has chosen not to take part in the show and instead will promote its products via digital media.

Virtual Reality Farming with Trelleborg at EIMA

Trelleborg will display its new virtual reality app at EIMA International 2016 in Bologna between 9 and 13 November on stand A1, Hall 14. The company says the app gives users to see Trelleborg’s best-in-class agricultural tyres in action. Visitors can also experience the challenges of modern agriculture on-stand with the new Farming Simulator 17 video game, of which Trelleborg is the official partner for agricultural tyres.

Mitas to expand municipal tyre range, release largest HCM size

Mitas, part of Trelleborg Group, is to release the largest tyre in its High Capacity Municipal (HCM) range, 540/80R38 HCM. This fifth size will be displayed at the EIMA fair at Mitas stand A1 in Hall 14. Pavel Kott, product manager for Mitas agricultural tyres, said: “Mitas entered the municipal tyres segment last year. The success of the HCM range gave us a strong signal to continue development and broaden the offer of tyre sizes.”

Trelleborg introducing VR agri tyre app

A new virtual reality, or VR app from Trelleborg will be launched at the EIMA 2016 exhibition next week. Visitors to the Bologna show will be able to try out the new agricultural tyre app for ioS and Android devices using virtual reality headsets at Trelleborg’s show stand (Hall 14, stand A1).

‘Mitas Premium’ announced at EIMA – Continental name to be phased out on OE agri tyres

At its press conference at the EIMA agricultural show yesterday, Mitas a.s. announced that as of January 2015, it will replace the Continental brand name on its original equipment agricultural tyre products with Mitas branded products. The Mitas tyres it supplies will bear the ‘Mitas Premium’ name; this name is being given to a new product line of agricultural radial tyres for powerful machinery, and includes the HC 1000 and HC 2000 Very High Flexion (VF) tyres and Super Flexion Tyres (SFT). The VF tyres launched in September 2014 represent Mitas’ latest innovation.

Trelleborg to livestream Tractor of the Year 2015 from EIMA exhibition

Trelleborg has announced that it will stream the Tractor of the Year 2015 awards ceremony live on the Trelleborg Wheel Systems website and on the Trelleborg stand at leading agricultural exhibition, EIMA International 2014 in Bologna, Italy today (12 November).
