After postponing the event scheduled for November 2020, the organiser of EIMA International is planning to hold its agricultural machinery trade fair in Bologna next February. But not all exhibitors are convinced this is the right decision. In light of the ongoing coronavirus situation, tyre maker BKT has chosen not to take part in the show and instead will promote its products via digital media.
Off-road tyre specialist BKT has signed a new sports sponsorship deal. The Indian group will be a Premium Partner of EuroLeague Basketball, organiser of the two most prestigious European basketball club competitions, over the next three years until the 2022/23 season. The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the 7DAYS EuroCup bring together 42 teams, representing 14 countries. BKT branding will be present at the first round of 2020/21 season games on 1-2 October. It will be displayed on LED systems, Jumbotrons and on-site initiatives. BKT will also gain television exposure via graphics and headers and pre- and post-game interview backdrops. BKT will also appear on EuroLeague and EuroCup digital and social media.
It’s already title partner to the knockout championship Coupe de la Ligue (French League Cup), and now BKT has extended its football activities in France by becoming title sponsor to the country’s second division league. From the start of the 2020/21 season, this will be known as Ligue 2 BKT.

American football isn’t a mainstream sport in Europe – not yet, anyway. But its fanbase on this side of the Atlantic is growing, and audience numbers will be helped by next month’s 2019 IFAF Women’s European Championship in the UK and – starting next week – the 2019 U19 European Championship in Bologna, Italy. Off-highway tyre maker BKT is presenting sponsor of the latter event.
In India, the lighting of a lamp symbolises new beginnings. For BKT, this tradition was a fitting gesture for observing a significant step in what it calls the ‘Next Level’: The lighting ceremony marked the start of festivities to celebrate the inauguration of BKT’s rebuilt European headquarters on 5 April.
Ever since signing up as sponsor to Italy’s Serie B and the Coupe de la Ligue in France earlier this year, football has become not just a means of promoting the BKT brand name. The off-highway tyre specialist has also integrated the beautiful game into its charitable activities.
Off-highway tyre maker BKT has taken on title sponsorship of Italy’s second-highest football championship, Serie B. African freestyle footballer Iya Traoré may be drawing crowds to the BKT stand at Agritechnica, however the off-road tyre specialist considers the true stars of its exhibition space to be two recent arrivals in its agricultural portfolio. One of these is displayed fitted to a full-sized plexiglass tractor weighing one and a half tonnes.
Off-road tyre specialist BKT is proud to share that its products were fitted to tractors featured at this week’s launch of the Deutz-Fahr 6 and 7 Series ranges, which took place at the brand’s ‘Future Farming’ event in Dresden, Germany. A total of 19 Deutz-Fahr vehicles were available for live testing at Future Farming, and BKT shares that its flagship Agrimax Force saw action fitted to the 9 Series, which was launched last year.
