New Michelin WRC tyres debut at Rally Finland

Michelin chose the fastest round of the 2018 FIA World Rally Championship to launch its latest range of WRC gravel tyres. For the first time since 2011, the tyre maker’s partners were able to select two compounds from a choice of three options, namely the existing H4 (hard compound) version of the Michelin LTX Force tyre, along with the new S6 (soft) and M6 (medium) variants.

Kumho looks back on 2015 motorsport successes

Kumho’s year in motorsport was capped by its continued association with single-seater racing in the form of the Formula 3 Masters weekend in Zandvoort, which celebrated its quarter-century anniversary in September. The manufacturer has supplied all the tyres for the event since 2002, and took the opportunity for a strong marketing presence.

Dmack to introduce new tyre, driver in Finland

Dmack will introduce a new soft compound version of its DMG+2 rally tyre in Finland, while the tyre supplier will also enter last year’s Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy winner as a new team – Drive Dmack 2. With the tyre brand’s lead driver, Jari Ketomaa, forced onto the sidelines for his home rally on medical advice, Dmack completes its changes with a new driver; Ketomaa’s fellow Finn, Jarkko Nikara steps in to take his place on the Neste Oil Rally Finland.

Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy 2015 to feature new car, expanded line-up

Dmack has launched the 2015 edition of its Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy with a new car and an expanded line-up at the Autosport Show 2015. The series for emerging rallying talent is driven by tyre manufacturer Dmack and rally preparation experts M-Sport. It is competed over six rounds and five FIA World Rally Championship events, to which Dmack has been a tyre supplier since 2010.

Drive Dmack series rounds halfway point in Finland

Tyre supplier Dmack says the upcoming Neste Oil Rally Finland is set to be the highlight of the Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy season. The 12 crews will travel to the spiritual home of rallying with Sander Pärn leading the series, having scored a dominant two-wheel drive win on his home event of Rally Estonia.
