An all-new Momo tyre range has been developed, with Wheelwright appointed UK distributor for these products. For Benelux markets, wholesale S&H Tyres reports that its VDR Autobanden bvba subsidiary will exclusively distribute the Momo tyre and rim line-up.
One of the world’s best-known wheel brands is making a comeback in the UK. Aftermarket alloy wheel supplier Wheelwright reports that British buyers will soon once again be able to get their hands upon Momo rims and also kit their cars out with Momo tyres.
Momo-branded car, light truck and SUV tyres make their North American debut this month. The tyre range was launched in Europe in 2012 and will be on display at the Specialty Equipment Market Association Show (SEMA) at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Cisneros Corporation, parent company of Italy-based wheel manufacturer Momo, has acquired US firm Weld Racing from investment group Granite Creek Capital Partners, L.L.C. for an undisclosed sum. Announcing the deal, Weld Racing states that together with the Momo Automotive Group, it will create a “global design, performance, and manufacturing powerhouse with a passion for motorsports and a drive for transformational innovation.”
Momo has just released its new Screamjet Alloy Wheel, which is designed to look as dramatic as its name implies. 10 curved spokes draw the eye to the iconic Momo Italy logo on the centre cap. The Screamjet is available in Hypersilver with five stud only fitment and in diameters from 16 to 18 inches.
