A new European developer and distributor of tools, machines and consumables says that it wants to increase the reliability and user-friendliness of retreading equipment. NeroForce, based in Leipheim, Germany, was founded by managing directors Andreas Müller and Martin Kalagin, who between them have more than 25 years of strategic experience of the global retread market, both having worked for Bridgestone, and then B&J Rocket and Marangoni respectively. Thanks to this background, Kalagin told Tyres & Accessories that combining this retreading market experience with a more hands-on view of retreaders’ requirements, NeroForce is well placed to tailor its product range to the needs of today’s retreaders.
Vipal installed its VR01 Smart DUO buffing machine at Tyre Retreads in Christchurch, New Zealand between 10 and 19 September 2018. This was the first time that this machinery has been installed outside Latin America.
Brazilian retreaders União and Toro have installed a Vipal Rubber-developed casing buffing system. The VR01 Smart DUO, a dual position buffer, was installed at União Tire Retreading in São Paulo retreader in April. Soon after, another partner of the Vipal Authorized Network Deatler had installed a single position variant at its Toro Recauchutagem operation in Rio de Janeiro.
Kraiburg Austria has revealed plans to invest 4 million euros mainly in upgrading its buffing machinery this year. The retreading specialist says the aim is “to maintain quality at the highest possible level and to keep the production processes as flexible and as efficient as possible”.
Italmatic, the Italian tyre manufacturing equipment maker, has revealed plants to present two new machines on its stand (B76, hall 22) at Autopromotec 2015, which will be held in Bologna in May. Characterising the event as “very significant news confirming its role of leader in the worldwide market”, Italmatic representatives explained that the firm will be showing a new buffer and a new tyre builder during the exhibition.
