ATS Euromaster group operations director Peter Tye has expressed his “delight” at technician Lee Hayman being made the 2016 REACT Roadside Technician of the Year during the NTDA’s Tyre Industry Awards. It is the second successive time that an ATS Euromaster technician has won the award.
The doors have opened on the new ATS Euromaster centre in Altrincham set up following the compulsory acquisition of the company’s Oakfield Street site. The fast fit network invested more than £320,000 in the new 7,500 square foot facility, which is located in the Blue Chip Business Park in Atlantic Street.
Joint recipient of the Tyre Industry Awards’ REACT Roadside Technician of the Year, ATS Euromaster’s Michael Vasey works at the network’s Aberdeen centre predominantly as a mobile technician in one of ATS Euromaster’s more than 820 service vans. The 29-year-old holds City and Guilds qualifications in every aspect of tyre fitting and roadside breakdown, from car and van to heavy industrial vehicles, including experience working airside at Aberdeen International Airport.
ATS Euromaster has opened a new flagship facility in Dartford’s Matrix Business Centre on Victoria Road. The network has invested more than £320,000 in this new site, including the most recent tyre fitting, maintenance and vehicle diagnostic equipment. ATS-E stated it selected the 6,000sqft site for its strategic location, bordering East London, close to the A2 and M25. The centre will provide an extended range of fast-fit services, including batteries, brakes, exhausts, oil top-ups, shocks, fault diagnostics and air-conditioning servicing, as well as its tyre services.
At the start of the year that ATS Euromaster marks its 50th anniversary, the leading tyre retail chain is kick-starting 2015 with the welcome news that it has returned to profitability after a challenging few years in the red. According to executives, this comes as the result of the successful implementation of a five-year turnaround plan and means ATS Euromaster is on-track to significantly increase profits over the next couple of years.
ATS Euromaster has opened a new £350,000 flagship service centre in Wrexham, North Wales. The 7,500sqft centre, located on Mold Road directly opposite Wrexham FC, replaces an existing centre on Dolydd Road. It will support all vehicle types, including cars, vans, trucks, industrial equipment and agricultural machinery.
