Davanti supports emergency services with training and tyres

The Davanti tyre brand has been supporting emergency services in the UK and Poland by supplying tyres and training to certain ambulance and complex hazard services.

First, while the pandemic has reduced miles driven across the UK, off road expert Edd Cobley has been training key workers to be ready to respond to complex situations – all on Davanti Terratoura tyres.

Blue light staff take up 14,000 Halfords services, checks

More than 4,000 NHS staff and emergency workers have gone to Halfords for free car and bike checks since the retailer started offering them in late March. The initiative was launched to help those carrying out essential work on the frontline of the COVID-19 crisis get to and from work safely.

Apollo Vredestein wins emergency services tyre supply contracts

Apollo Vredestein has been selected as tyre supplier for Lowland Rescue and Kent Central Ambulance services. The services join Medi 4 Ambulance Service in using the manufacturer’s products on their fleets.

PCL makes bespoke inflation solution for emergency services

Pneumatic Components (PCL) has developed a unique mobile tyre inflation solution for one of the largest fire and rescue services in the country.

Essex County Fire & Rescue Service (ECFRS) required a solution that would enable its fleet operators to inflate fire engine tyres up to the required psi, often 130psi or above, quickly, safely and efficiently.
