Seat has chosen Bridgestone as its preferred tyre partner to equip its new Minimó electric concept car, presented at the Geneva Motor Show. Minimó sits on specially designed tyres that apply Bridgestone’s ologic technology. Anticipating the design lines of a tyre oriented towards micro-mobility and CASE (Connected Autonomous Share Electric) vehicles, the tyres were developed for the car brand at Bridgestone’s R&D Centre in Rome.

Yokohama to make debut at CV Show 2019
Yokohama has announced that it will to exhibit at the Commercial Vehicle Show for the first time in 2019 (30 April – 2 May, NEC Birmingham). The tyre manufacturer will use the event to showcase its range of van, 4x4 and high performance tyres suited to a wide range of fleet and vehicle applications. Its decision to exhibit reinforces Yokohama’s growing interest in the van tyre market. Its latest fleet fitments include specialist aviation logistics company, Comet Car Hire (CCH) and leading European logistics business, X One Wholesale.

Giti Tire rides again at VW Fun Cup 2019
Giti Tire is follow the season in which it achieved its first podium finish, taking third place at Holland’s Circuit Zandvoort, by continuing its close involvement in the VW Fun Cup. It will mark its fourth year as official tyre partner in 2019. There are eight endurance races scheduled for 2019, lasting from three to eight hours with two to four drivers. Kumho the strongest ‘local’ in South Korea’s aftermarket
