Tyrexpo Africa postponed due to coronavirus

SingEx Exhibitions has postponed its forthcoming Tyrexpo Africa trade as a result of concerns relating to the coronavirus. As a result, the event will now take place 4-6 August 2020 at Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Tyrexpo India: 2,000+ visitors to 2017 show

The three-day Tyrexpo India trade fair concluded yesterday, and organiser SingEx Exhibitions reports the attendance of 2,017 trade visitors at the show in Chennai. There they met with close to 80 exhibitors from 30 countries and participated in added-value programmes such as the TyreTalk/GarageTalk seminars and Tyrexpo/GarageXpo technical workshops. SingEx comments that the seminars and workshops were well received.

Career Tracks

Andrew Tan has announced his upcoming departure from SingEx Exhibitions, the company behind the Tyrexpo series of trade fairs. The project director for SingEx Exhibitions’ Automotive & Commodities Cluster will leave SingEx at the end of this week.

We’re spoiled for choice when it comes to tyre trade exhibitions, and therefore the organisers behind these shows must compete to convince the industry that theirs is the one to visit. Tyrepress.com recently attended Tyrexpo Asia, and spoke with project director Andrew Tan about what he and his team have planned for the fair and for the Tyrexpo franchise in order to set it apart from the rest.

Tyrexpo Asia 2017 opens its doors

This is World Rubber Week, and one of three key events taking place as part of the week is Tyrexpo Asia. The Singapore-based tyre trade exhibition opened this morning, and welcoming exhibitors and visitors to the 11th edition of Tyrexpo Asia, project director Andrew Tan expressed the expectation that the show would be attended by “close to 5,000 tyre industry professionals from around the region.” More than 250 firms from over 20 countries are also exhibiting at Tyrexpo 2017, he added.

Michelin’s Minguet to address World Rubber Summit

The organisers of the World Rubber Summit 2015 have secured the presence of Michelin senior vice-president and chief procurement officer Luc Minguet as a keynote speaker. According to SingEx Exhibitions and the International Rubber Study Group, Minguet will provide key insights on how Michelin is putting its aims of making transportation cleaner, safer, more accessible and affordable into action. “He will share practical examples of programmes and initiatives which Michelin are developing in their procurement chain that contribute towards attaining the company’s vision of sustainable mobility,” reports SingEx.

SingEx-ECI International seeking ways to ‘build on’ Brityrex 2014

The organiser of Brityrex International 2014, SingEx-ECI International, said that it will seek to take the show “to the next level” following feedback from the 2014 edition of the show. A foundation for increased success has been laid by an expanded programme of informative and engaging discussions in the form of TyreTalk seminars, enhanced product variety, numerous product launches and first time appearances at a UK tradeshow, the organiser said.

IRSG/Sing-Ex revamp World Rubber Summit

In partnership with SingEx Exhibitions, IRSG will launch the newly revamped World Rubber Summit (WRS) 2015, which is to be held in Singapore from 24 to 25 March 2015 at MAX Atria@Singapore EXPO. Held under the umbrella of “World Rubber Week”, the event takes place alongside Tyrexpo Asia, IRSG’s Assembly of Nations and other related industry seminars and networking receptions.
