European motocross ‘excellent showcase’ for Maxxis MaxxCross range

Maxxis continued its 2019 MXGP progress in the 2020 season, with its MaxxCross range helping to deliver podiums in several European classifications. For the second consecutive year, a rider on MaxxCross tyres won the European 125cc Motocross Championship with Andrea Bonacorsi of Fantic Motor factory team after the title win in 2019 with Mattia Guadagnini. The manufacturer said that the newest addition to the MaxxCross range, the MX-SM sand tyre, had proven its performance alongside the championship-winning MX-ST, offering consistent high performance.

GASGAS chooses Maxxis tyres for 2021 motocross, enduro bikes

Off-road motorcycle manufacturer GASGAS has specified Maxxis tyres as original equipment for a range of its 2021 bikes. The Spanish manufacturer unveiled its 2021 range on 22 September, and its motocross and enduro bikes will run off the factory lines on Maxxis rubber. Maxxis’s championship-winning MaxxCross MX-ST for mid-soft terrain will be the OE motocross model, while the 2021 enduro range will feature the championship-winning MaxxEnduro tyre.

Maxxis’s new sand motocross tyre is now in stock and available to buy today from distributor Bickers. The MaxxCross MX-SM is a sand and mud tyre designed to offer the performance expected by professionals to the everyday rider. Used on sand tracks in the 2019 MXGP season, the MaxxCross MX-SM has two championship titles to its belt already; the Junior Motocross World Championship 125cc and the European 125cc Motocross Championship.
