Bridgestone OE for Fiat 500X

Goodyear recently announced its supply of original equipment tyres for the Fiat 500X in Europe, and the crossover will now also wear Bridgestone rubber following the homologation of the Turanza T001. Shipments of size 225/45 R18 91V tyres to Fiat’s factory in Melfi, Italy have already begun.

Goodyear original equipment on Fiat 500X

Goodyear’s EfficientGrip Performance and Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 tyres have been selected by Fiat as original equipment for the newly revealed 500X. Unveiled at the Paris Motorshow, the 500X compact crossover is available in two versions aimed at different market segments; one for city-based motorists, fitted with the EfficientGrip Performance (215/55RI7 94V), and another for more rugged, sporty applications, fitted with the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 (225/45R18 91Y). Targeting younger drivers, owners can choose 12 different colours and eight different designs to further personalise their selection.

Nexen OE on Fiat 500X

Product News

Nexen is to supply the Fiat-Chrysler Group with its CP 671 tyre for fitment on the 500X, Fiat’s first crossover model. The Nexen-Fiat contract will see Nexen supply original equipment (OE) tyres from February, when the 500X enters production.
