Falken Tyre partners with Rugby Super League

Falken’s Rugby Super League sponsorship is the first time the brand has stepped outside of motorsport when it comes to marketing and partnership deals

The First Utility Super League and Falken Tyre Europe have entered into a partnership that will see the Japanese tyre manufacturer become an official partner of the UK’s elite Rugby League competition. Falken Tyre Europe’s first association with Rugby League will initially see their branding at all major games with further exposure set to be announced during season.

RFL commercial director Chris Rawlings said: “This is Falken’s first time committing to sponsoring a sport outside of its traditional motorsport activities and we are delighted that a growing international brand is now an official partner of the First Utility Super League. Their attributes of no nonsense and durability will resonate well with our own growing fan base who appreciate value week in, week out.”

Falken’s Director Matt Smith said: “Rugby League offers Falken a chance to reach a broad range of enthusiastic fans relevant to our product range. We wanted a trusted sport whose values such as passion matched our own and in conjunction with Elonex Sports PLC, Rugby League was the perfect fit. The sport is renowned for being an approachable, friendly, team game and we look forward to being part of this family sport.”
