Silverline promoting Atturo brand in UK
Just a couple of months before the Essen show, Silverline International Ltd became the UK distributor for the American Atturo tyre brand. So it was a pleasant surprise to bump into Silverline’s Chris Dawson during the Reifen show who explained the strategy behind taking on this brand.
Atturo specialises in producing affordable tyres for the fiercely competitive SUV and 4×4 market. The company’s AZ800 and AZ600 performance touring tyres cater for those mainly driver Land Rovers on-road and are available in a range of rim sizes from 16-inch to 20-inch – in both original equipment and aftermarket sizes.
Off-roaders are catered for with the Trail Blade M/T – an aggressive mud-terrain pattern tyre – and the all-terrain pattern Trail Blade A/T (pictured). Both tyres are available for a range of rim sizes from 15-inch to 20-inch in standard and oversize sizes, so there’s going to be a size to fit
Silverline to launch Atturo SUV tyres at Brityrex 2014
The next step is for Silverline to officially launch its refreshed portfolio of exclusive 4×4 and sport utility vehicle (SUV) brands to trade buyers at the Brityrex 2014 in Manchester in October. Of course the Atturo range is likely to be a key part of that.
“Showing the Atturo range to genuine trade buyers at Brityrex will allow them to judge the tyres for themselves, giving us the opportunity to talk in detail about the product line up which includes the AZ800, the Trail Blade All Terrain and the Trail Blade Mud Terrain,” Chris Dawson, head of sales and marketing at Silverline said.
The company plans to capitalise on the rapid sales of SUV models in the UK, which have more than doubled to over 250,000 units in recent years.
Silverline is also the UK distributor for the American brands Mickey Thompson and Dick Cepek and is a global trading partner for Cooper Tire that will also be showcased at the event.
