Yokohama commences countdown to centenary anniversary
Yokohama will mark its centenary with a social media-led promotional campaign. Counting down the 100 days until 13 October, Yokohama will give its followers the opportunity to win a selection of branded goods, Chelsea FC merchandise and Chelsea FC tickets.
“As Japan’s oldest tyre manufacturer, we’re incredibly proud to be celebrating our 100th year and this initiative will give our fans and supporters the opportunity to share the occasion with us,” comments David Seward, managing director, Yokohama HPT Ltd. “We’ve recently launched a dedicated micro-site which chronicles the Yokohama journey, from our inception back in 1917, through to our current day exploits. A number of events are being planned for our anniversary itself, but in the meantime, these regular giveaways via our social media channels will give our fans the opportunity to celebrate with us.”
