Klarius receives full conformity of production approval from VCA

Official conformity of production proves that the VCA has confirmed that satisfactory evidence of the quality system controls have been witnessed by VCA inspectors at the Klarius Products main production plant in Staffordshire

UK manufacturer of exhausts, CATs and DPFs Klarius has opted to bring forward its manufacturing conformity certification for 2015. The company explains that this would “provide more solid evidence of its commitment to premium quality products at a standard price.” This includes the the full manufacturing process for its entire emission control product range covering over 10,000 individual parts.

The comprehensive certification process checks are carried out by the official UK government sanction independent regulatory body for UK vehicle type approval and the issuer of UK Type-Approval documentation, the VCA.

Charles Greaves, head of production at the 50 acre midlands manufacturing, test and R&D and stockholding centre, comments: “We know our production processes and the resultant quality and performance standards of our products are extremely high and also extremely consistent, as do our major customers. Indeed, some of these process we have been told will now be used as a benchmark for others.

“As a longstanding advocate of full UK type-approval for exhausts, as well as CATs and DPFs – something other companies don’t bother with – it is important to advertise to the industry generally the fact that we routinely go through conformance and quality testing with the VCA for type-approval of our products and certification of our manufacturing systems.”
