Shingo Sakashita joins management board as finance director at Falken Tyre Europe

Shingo Sakashita, 46, has been appointed finance director Falken Tyre Europe, the European affiliate of Japanese tyre manufacturer Sumitomo Rubber Industries. Sakashita joins the management team in Offenbach am Main (Germany), assuming the position of finance director, alongside Isamu Ishida, Koji Fukuhara and Hidekazu Nishiguchi.

Before joining Falken Tyre Europe, Shingo Sakashita was manager of the International Business Development & Administration Department at parent company Sumitomo Rubber Industries. Previously he gained extensive experience as accounting and administration manager in Japan, the USA and various locations in Europe.

As the head of the Finance Department, Sakashita will contribute his comprehensive experience and industry expertise in the areas of accounting, credit controlling and finance.

“I am looking forward to my new role at Falken Tyre Europe,” states Shingo Sakashita. “Together with my team, I would like to continue our expansion in Europe and build upon our growing aftermarket and OE business.”
