TGI to distribute Alliance’s Galaxy tyres in Latin America, Caribbean

Date: 26th July 2012 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Tire Group International and Alliance Tire Group have announced a distribution agreement that gives TGI exclusive distribution rights for Galaxy-brand tyres in Latin America and the Caribbean, with exception of Colombia and Ecuador. The distributor will offer Galaxy’s industrial, agricultural and off-the-road tyre lines as both direct factory shipments and fill-in from its distribution centre in Miami, Florida.

President of Alliance Tire Group, Manny Cicero commented: “We are truly excited about this venture with Tire Group International. TGI is the type of company we look to partner with. It has a solid reputation for building brands in Latin America thru a dedicated dealer network and excellent customer service. We have no doubt that our Galaxy brand will be well represented in Latin America.”

“We are very excited to be able to expand our brand portfolio, adding one of the best quality specialty tire brands in the market. The addition of the Galaxy brand will allow us to strengthen our position in the industrial, agricultural and OTR segments,” said Orlando Delgado, Tire Group International’s senior vice president of Sales and Marketing.

“This new partnership presents a great opportunity for TGI to develop Galaxy’s distribution in the replacement market. We are confident this agreement with Alliance Tire Group will represent another step in the right direction in our constant efforts to deliver good quality products and world-class customer service,” added Joaquin Gonzalez Jr, Tire Group International’s COO.
