New TechMan website reflects Garage Management System development

Garage Management System, TechMan has launched a new website. The company says the new site represents its growing list of features developed to improve day-to-day tasks in a busy garage environment. The firm has invested in new head office premises and additional staff appointments in addition to the ongoing development of the Garage Management System. In the past 18 months, more garages have been using Techman’s software to enable increased digitalisation of their businesses, prompted by pandemic operating conditions.

TechMan saves garages money with PDQ integration

TechMan, the garage management specialist, now offers card services provider integration, linking PDQ card terminals with its software. After meeting with a national fast fit network, TechMan said it discovered significant sums of money were being written off by garages each year in miss-keyed or malicious transactions using PDQ terminals. In response, TechMan developed a solution it says is flexible enough to work for both single branch independents and national chains.

TechMan says web bookings can help garages ‘sell while they sleep’

TechMan, the garage management system built by an independent garage, say they are rolling out their new ‘web booking’ system after successfully integrating it for a number of customers in recent months. One garage piloting the system saw profits generated from invoiced web bookings reach £18,877 in the seven months to January 2018 – a run rate of over £30,000 per year.
