Greg Ward joins Halfords

Date: 8th February 2022 Author: Chris Anthony Comments: 0

Greg Ward has joined the Halfords Autocentres business, where the experienced truck, bus and agricultural tyre specialist will be commercial sales director.

Ward brings with him extensive experience in the commercial vehicle tyre sector, specifically including 19 years with Bridgestone, latterly as commercial sales director UK & Ireland.

Tyres & Accessories understands that the new position will see Ward play a key role in the strategic outworking of the commercial vehicle-focused businesses McConnechy’s and Universal which Halfords bought in 2019 and 2021 respectively.

In some ways, Ward’s latest role is a partial homecoming because, earlier in his career he worked for National Tyres, which was also bought by Halfords at the end of last year.
