TyreSafe has continued to spread its reach to all parts of the extended automotive sector by signing Evans Halshaw as its latest member. One of the UK’s largest dealer groups, Evans Halshaw’s 120 sites across England, Scotland and Wales will now have access to a wide range of tyre safety information and advice for use within its outlets, helping to keep its customers informed and safe on the road.

“A car dealership is an ideal environment to educate and remind drivers about the importance of correct tyre care and maintenance, so it’s fantastic news to have such a large national group join us,” comments Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe. “We’ve already seen from other members what a great difference dealers can make at a local level, so we look forward to working closely with all of the new sites in helping to make our roads a safer place.”

Tyres form part of the complete service and MOT offering available at all Evans Halshaw sites. Customers receive complimentary vehicle health check reports with every visit to one of the company’s workshops which includes a comprehensive tyre condition report.

In addition to the use of TyreSafe’s campaign materials in-store, the company is also expected to bolster its online tyre safety advice and become heavily involved in campaigns such as October’s Tyre Safety Month.

“As one of the largest dealer groups in the UK, our business has been built on looking after our customers properly,” explains Michael Hunt, aftersales director, Evans Halshaw. “Joining TyreSafe and helping educate drivers on the important issue of tyre safety is another important way in which we can continue this high level of care and service. We look forward to becoming fully involved with the group and its other members in delivering some exciting initiatives.”

Evans Halshaw represents ten different vehicle manufacturers across its network including Ford, Vauxhall, Citroen, Seat and Nissan. The company has grown rapidly in the last 15 years with some high profile dealer acquisitions such as CD Bramall and Reg Vardy.
