Tanvic Group committed to “cornerstone” agricultural market

Date: 16th January 2012 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Independent East Midlands tyre distributor Tanvic Group Ltd operates from eight locations in Newark (its head office), Lincoln, Grantham, Corby, Melton Mowbray, Loughborough, Worksop and Market Harborough. Though Tanvic says it recognises the market has contracted over the last few years, it has met this challenge by increasing the specialist knowledge of its staff, attempting to add value to the service it offers farm customers.

Tanvic says the departure of many service providers has given it an opportunity to match better the demands of the modern farmer. With the continuing development of machinery and technology this necessitated the employment of two specialist team members dedicated to the agricultural field.

The agricultural market is described as one of its founding cornerstones; “we feel it is as important now as it has ever been to support British farmers and retain a strong presence in the agricultural arena,” the company argues.

Tanvic has been part of the Firestone Agripoint Network for many years, marketing the brand throughout the East Midlands. It is also part of the key dealer network working in Michelin’s Exelagri programme. Tanvic says both networks reflect its commitment to the sector; a commitment also seen in its investment in stock. The company carries more than 400 agricultural tyres at any one time.
