KRT Appointed Michelin UK Agricultural Tyre Wholesaler

After over 30 years of specialising in the marketing and distribution of agricultural tyres, the latest news from Kings Road Tyres (KRT) is that the Michelin recently appointed the wholesale specialist as its Agricultural Tyre Wholesaler for the UK. The announcement comes two years after Michelin appointed Kings Road Tyres as the sole supplier of its Taurus agricultural tyres to the UK. And this move in itself followed KRT’s appointment as sole supplier of the Stomil-Olsztyn / Kormoran range of products, another Michelin Group brand.

Kings Road Tyres has been specialising in the marketing and distribution of agricultural tyres now for more than three decades. KRT’s inventory covers a wide range of brands and types of tyres, selling into the premium, mid range, “super budget” and budget sector. Premium brands stocked and offered include Goodyear, Bridgestone and Firestone, with KRT being these manufacturers’ approved wholesale distributor. KRT positions Taurus and Stomil-Kormoran with the super budget and budget sectors. The product portfolio is completed with brands such as Galaxy, Jetire and KRT’s own brand – Kingstone.

KRT offer the majority of its customers either a same day or next day delivery throughout the UK, using their own fleet of vehicles from their seven sales and distribution centres. A new improved service is set to be offered to customers in Scotland for 2008. With one of the most comprehensive and largest stocks of tyres in the country, KRT consider themselves leaders in the ‘Field’ where agricultural tyres are concerned.
