TyreXpo Asia Bangkok 2024 is inviting the industry to engage with “over 150 exhibitors and 250 tyre brands” when it takes place at BITEC Hall 98, Bangkok om Thailand from 15 – 17 May 2024.
The Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT) is supporting the upcoming TyreXpo Bangkok 2024 that is scheduled to be held on 15-17 May 2024 at BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand. As a leading government authority for the rubber industry in Thailand, RAOT aims to further promote the development and sustainability of the rubber sector in Thailand and beyond.
Four months before TyreXpo Asia 2024 opens in a new location in Thailand at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) running from 15 to 17 May, the show’s organisers are confident the event will attract 120 exhibitors and 4000 attendees from around 60 countries.
Tarsus Group announced that it was planning the first Tyrexpo Asia in Thailand in 2022 back in 2020. Now the company report that momentum is building for Tyrexpo Asia 2024 in Bangkok, which runs from 15-17 May at the BITEC venue.
Originally created by the US military as a retreading facility, Danang Rubber (DRC) claims the highest market share for truck tyres within Vietnam, a country with almost 100 million people and a very active road transportation industry. The company is also a first-time Tyrexpo Asia exhibitor and is “enthusiastically looking forward” to introducing itself to Asian and global markets.
When factoring in flights, accommodation and other expenses, the cost of attending an international tyre show can add up quickly. But Tarsus Group says this doesn’t have to be the case. In fact, you may be able to travel to Singapore and visit Tyrexpo Asia without paying a penny for the privilege.
With the first post-pandemic TyreXpo Asia getting underway in a little over two months’ time, the organiser of the B2B tyre trade show shares that it can “no longer guarantee floorspace” due to overwhelming demand. It has therefore begun a waitlist for exhibitors who wish to be present when TyreXpo Asia takes place at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre on 8 to 10 March.
Singapore’s resurgence as a travel destination means that Tyrexpo Asia will soon return to its traditional home. Nine months out from the next planned show, organiser Tarsus Southeast Asia reports bookings from more than 100 international visitors, with half the floorspace across the three exhibition halls already occupied.
Singapore has taken a hard line against Covid-19 and continues to enforce international travel restrictions. In order to ensure it can welcome visitors to Tyrexpo Asia 2022, organiser Tarsus Group has decided to hold the event in Bangkok instead. Thailand will allow quarantine-free entry for fully vaccinated travellers from low-risk countries from the beginning of November 2021 with no need to quarantine.
After new updates to Singapore’s Covid-19 response, Tarsus Southeast Asia has opted to move Tyrexpo Asia 2021 to a fully digital event format. The organiser had previously hoped to make the 17-19 November event a hybrid exhibition, with an in-person expo in the hall space running alongside digital elements over its three days. The Singapore Government’s latest updates have confirmed that event engagements will be significantly impaired, and strong travel restrictions remain in place, underlining the difficulties in hosting international events. Tarsus said it is partnering with a leading specialist in hybrid event platform management to present a highly professional virtual online show.
“If the [pandemic] situation continues to improve”, Tyrexpo Asia 2021 will proceed as planned albeit with some digital modifications, the Singapore tyre trade exhibition’s organiser Tarsus Group have reported. Specifically, Tarsus Group reports that it is implementing digital elements “alongside the live event” scheduled to be held 17-19 November 2021.
Tarsus Group, organisers of the forthcoming Tyrexpo Asia 2021 Show have affirmed that the event is ‘still’ on track to take place at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore between the 17 and 19 November this year.
Tyrexpo Asia 2021 is taking place in Singapore between 17 and 19 November, and event organiser Tarsus South East Asia shares that US-based association the Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau (TRIB) is partnering with the event. Tarsus has also announced the participation of two further exhibitors, Dutch wholesaler Inter-Sprint and German online tyre sales service Tyreworld (B. Fuhrmann Einzelhandel GmbH).
The BITEC exhibition venue in Bangkok will host a Tyrexpo Asia event in Thailand from 2022. According to the event organisers, Tarsus Group, the idea is to keep running the existing Tyrexpo Asia Singapore exhibition during odd years and introduce the Bangkok edition during even years. As a result, there will be a Tyrexpo Asia event running annually. The inaugural Bangkok edition will be run 27-29 April 2022 roughly five months after Tyrexpo Asia Singapore, which is scheduled for 17-19 November 2021.
Tyrexpo Asia had originally been planned for March 2021 at The Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore. However, the event’s organiser Tarsus Group reports that “it has been necessary to reschedule the Tyrexpo Asia show in Singapore to 17 – 19 November 2021” due to “COVID-19 still continuing to affect all promotional business events around the world for the foreseeable future”.
