The charity, Speed Of Sight, is hosting an off-road track day for disabled people to enable them to drive at Cardenden Motocross Track in Lochgelly – its first event in Scotland in five years. The event is taking place Monday 15 August 2022 from 10am to 4pm. The track is less than an hour away from Edinburgh and just over an hour from Glasgow. People with all disabilities will have the chance to drive themselves and an instructor around the off-road track. Readers can book places here.
Disabled driving charity Speed of Sight and Landsail Tyres have announced a major extension of their title sponsorship deal for 2019. In 2018 the Manchester-based charity used the partnership to extend its reach across the UK, offering more car enthusiasts with disabilities the chance to enjoy the thrill of driving on a track day than ever before.
Driving charity Speed Of Sight and Landsail Tyres have launched a new partnership for 2018. The Manchester-based organisation uses specially adapted high-performance cars to offer track day experiences for individuals with disabilities, including the blind and partially sighted. Landsail will support SOS in fundraising efforts and at awareness events.
