Nokian Tyres unveiling new forestry tyre & wheel solutions

Nokian Tyres will debut a new forestry tyre at the FinnMETKO trade fair in Finland later this month with the introduction of the Nokian Tyres Forest King F2 CTL in a 30.5-inch size. The tyre maker says the Forest King F2 CTL delivers improved performance for harvesters and forwarders, with its increased airspace and minimised chance of rim slip.
“There is a demand for forwarders capable of transporting more wood with fewer driving cycles,” says Teemu Vainionpää, product manager at Nokian Heavy Tyres. “The new 30.5” size is a direct response to this demand, offering increased load capacity and improved performance.”
To complement the new Forest King F2 tyre, Nokian Tyres will also present a whole new custom-sized wheel and inner tube. It has designed the resulting complete wheel to be a drop-in performance upgrade for harvesters and forwarders.
FinnMETKO takes place in Jämsä, Finland between 29 and 31 August. Visitors can find Nokian Tyres at stand 620.
