Falken to display extensive range at The Tire Cologne

From energy-efficient EV tyres to robust off-road rubber to inspiring UUHP and commercial vehicle treads, Falken is presenting the most extensive range to date for all seasons at The Tire Cologne – including the new Ziex ZE320. Visitors to the Sumitomo Rubber Industries flagship tyre brand will see its latest innovative tyres, such as the UUHP tire Azenis RS820, approved for speeds of up to 300 km/h, at the almost 400 sqm exhibition stand (Hall 6.1/C010 to D019). The Falken Ziex ZE320, the successor to the Falken Ziex ZE310 Ecorun, is also presented here. Even without the Ecorun designation, the new tyre is still more environmentally friendly than its predecessor.

The first twelve dimensions of the Ziex ZE320 are expected to arrive in European warehouses in early summer. A further 48 sizes will expand the range by spring 2025, according to the manufacturer. Sizes include diameters from 15 to 18 inches for speeds up to 170 mph. According to the company, the new tyre will be produced in Turkey with an environmentally friendly filler. The silica used here is made from the ash of burned rice grains. Falken says this reduces greenhouse gas emissions; the heat generated when the rice husks are burned is converted into electrical energy that can be used in the processing process.

Our tyres offer an impressive level of technology and performance at an affordable price, convincing more drivers than ever to choose our products.”

To meet the increasing demand for seasonal tyres, Falken will also showcase its latest winter tyre profile HS02 PRO, latest all-season tyre offering AS220 PRO, and extreme winter peak products FICE1 and F-Snow. Operators of small vans will see robust, long-lasting Linam winter, summer and all-season tires, and fleet experts will explain the economic benefits of these tires. As with previous appearances, there will be variety in Cologne: in line with the expansion in e-sports, a racing simulator will bring entertainment and fun to the Falken stand.
